Scaramoose
Scaramoose are a hard working, laid back trio with an amazingly fresh sound. Heavily influenced by a mixture of exciting styles including acoustic, blues and funk, Scaramoose have a particular passion for artists such as Ben Harper, G. Love, The John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd and Peter Green. With a mixture of covers and original material the band currently perform in popular venues across the country.
Past highlights for Scaramoose have included: No.2 in the Tourdates UK Unsigned chart, Prize winners at the Gardening Club battle of the bands, Covent Garden, London. Support for Angus and Julia Stone plus return support for Carus and The True Believers. Main stage performance at the Maker Sunshine Festival, headline performance at the Great Hall, Dartington.
This constant hard graft has been recognized with interviews and air play by the likes of BBC Radio Devon, South Hams Radio and BBC Radio Bristol.
Scaramoose have also become recognizable for their soulful and melodic melodies, having become 'artist and MP3 of the week' on Lemonrock - www.lemonrock.co.uk and also 'album of the month' on Sound Surf - www.soundsurf.co.uk

These words inspired us so much we created yet another anti pop, we like to call it Spoken in Sonar.

We are a collective, a randomization, a band on shuffle, bored of watching same ol' same ol', tired of hearing yesterdays news tomorrow, fed up of the predictable charts, confused with the lack of true art, hanging on to what we've got but giving no care if it departs.
